Post 199 out of Cincinnati won the American Legion Region V Tournament at VA Memorial Stadium Wednesday.

Yeager-Benson defeated Waverly Post 142 16-3 in 5-innings to advance to next week’s State Tournament at Beavers Field in Lancaster.

Cincinnati will play at 7pm in Monday’s fourth game of the state tourney’s first round.

The City of Chillicothe looks to expand the existing charging station in the municipal parking lot on East Water Street.

City Council President Bruce Arnold assigned a request for legislation to appropriate $144,000 to install two electric vehicle charging stations with $125,000 pre-approved reimbursement from American Electric Power once the installation is approved.

Arnold tells Litter Media the two new stations “are bigger and charge much faster. 30 minutes versus eight hours.”
