Fayette Travel & Tourism Bureau Opens 2025 Tourism Assistance Grant Applications

(Washington CH) – Applications are now open for 2025 Fayette County Travel & Tourism Bureau the Tourism Assistance Grant (TAG) program. “The program was created to enhance and strengthen the positive economic impact of the tourism industry in our community,” according to Executive Director Stephanie Dunham.
Funds are available to nonprofit and local community organizations to benefit Fayette County recreational and tourism activities.
To be eligible for consideration, the applicant requesting funding must have a project that has the probability of increasing tourism and/or recreational activity in Fayette County. The project must demonstrate stability and generate public awareness. The applicant for grant assistance must also be working to raise other funds. The maximum grant amount available annually, per project, is $5,000.
Fayette County Travel & Tourism Bureau is now accepting applications for the 2025 Tourism Assistance Grant Program.

Grant Criteria for Approval
The deadline for submission of applications is Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at 4pm. Incomplete or late applications will not be considered. Grant applications will be reviewed by the Fayette County Travel & Tourism Board and result letters will be mailed to all applicants before November 1, 2024. Awarded grant funds will be available January 1, 2025. Should the recipients event or project be rendered not feasible, impossible to execute or cancelled awarded grant funds will remain with the Bureau.
