Miami Trace Clinches 2024 FAC Volleyball Crown

Miami Trace gave their home crowd something to be happy about Thursday as they defended their FAC Volleyball championship with a (25-11, 25-4, 25-15) sweep of McClain. The win propels the Panthers to a (8-0/16-1) record, guaranteeing them no worse than a share of the title with two matches to play.

Miami Trace was led by Addyson Butts with 18 kills and 2 serving aces. Lauren Guess added 8 kills, 6 solo blocks, and 3 aces.

Senior libero Sydney Carter had 7 digs, including her 1,000th career dig.

The Panthers can win the FAC championship outright with a victory at Hillsboro next Tuesday. The Indians remain mathematically in the league title chase with a (25-13, 25-15, 18-25, 21-25, 15-8) win over Jackson.
