July Blood Drives Planned In Ross County

(Ross County) — The American Red Cross is experiencing a severe blood shortage as the number of trauma cases, organ transplants and elective surgeries rise – and deplete the nation’s blood inventory. Donors of all blood types – especially type O– are urged to make an appointment to give as soon as possible to prevent further impact to patients.

Donors are urged to make an appointment to give blood now. As a thank-you, those who come to give  July 1st through 6th will receive an exclusive Red Cross embroidered hat, while supplies last. Those who come to give blood July 7th through 31st will receive a $10 Amazon.com Gift Card, via email, in addition to automatic entry for a chance to win gas for a year (a $5,000 value). This is the first time we will offer a $10 gift card to all presenting donors.
