22 Ohio Counties Declared Drought Disaster Areas

(Columbus) – The USDA has designated 22 Ohio counties as primary natural disaster areas due to on-going drought conditions. Director Baldridge joined State Representative Don Jones to visit three impacted counties in Southern Ohio August 29th, 2024 to talk with farmers and local leadership about their concerns.
Almost one dozen of these counties are in the Litter Media coverage area, including Ross, Pike, Pickaway, Highland, Fayette, Jackson, Vinton, Hocking, and Fairfield counties.
