ROSS COUNTY

State Route 180

SR 180 Bridge Replacement — Beginning June 22, SR 180 will be closed between Sulphur Spring Road and Robinson Road. The detour is SR 180 to SR 159 to SR 56 to SR 180. Estimated completion: Summer 2026

County Road 550

CR 550 Intersection Improvements — Project will improve two intersections along CR 550 (Pleasant Valley Road).

One of the locations will extend the westbound right turn lane on Pleasant Valley Road at the intersection with Veterans Parkway/Clinton Road.
- The right turn lane will be closed for the duration of the project.
The second location is adding a right turn lane to westbound Pleasant Valley Road at Egypt Pike.
- Expect work on the shoulder of Pleasant Valley Road to install a right-turn lane.

Estimated completion: Summer 2026

U.S. 50

U.S. 50 Resurfacing — A resurfacing project at various locations on U.S. 50 in Ross County.

Expect intermittent lane closures on U.S. 50 (Eastern Avenue) between S Watt Street and U.S. 35.
Expect intermittent lane closures on U.S. 50 between U.S. 35 and Sugar Run Road/Calvers Lane.
- Lane closures will be maintained by flaggers or a temporary signal.

Estimated completion: Fall 2026

State Route 159

State Route 159 (Bridge Street) Safety Improvement Project — A safety improvement project that will improve interchanges, intersections, lighting, traffic control, and pedestrian facilities.

All southbound lanes between Stewart Road and North Plaza Blvd. are closed.
- All southbound lanes are being detoured (except for the ramp to westbound U.S. 35).
The SR 104/High Street on-ramp to eastbound U.S. 35 is closed.
North Plaza Blvd. is closed at Bridge Street.
Expect lane closures on southbound Bridge Street from the Chillicothe Mall to North Plaza Blvd.

Estimated completion: Summer 2027

State Route 138

SR 138 Bridge Replacement — SR 138 is closed between Water Street and Stingy Lane. The detour is SR 138 to SR 207 to U.S. 22 to SR 138. Estimated completion: Fall 2026

U.S. 23

U.S. 23/U.S. 35 Rehabilitation — A rehabilitation project on U.S. 23/U.S. 35 between S.R. 207 and U.S. 35.

Expect lane closures on U.S. 23/U.S. 35 between the U.S. 23/SR 159 (Bridge Street) interchange and the U.S. 23/U.S. 35 southern split.

Estimated completion: Summer 2026

U.S. 23/SR 159 Truck Parking — The project will construct truck parking facilities at the U.S. 23 and SR 159 interchange.

Two lanes of traffic will be maintained on SR 159.
Expect turn lane closures at Overbridge Rd and Hospital Road

Estimated completion: Fall 2026

State Route 772

SR 772 Bridge Replacement — SR 772 is reduced to one lane between Turner Road and Rozelle Creek Road. Traffic is being maintained by a temporary signal. Estimated completion: Fall 2026

SR 772 Slide Repair — Expect temporary lane closures on SR 772 between McCann Lane and Rinehart Road. Traffic is being maintained by flaggers. Estimated completion: Summer 2026

County Road 222

CR 222 Bridge Replacement — A bridge replacement project on CR 222 (Charleston Pike) between Blacksmith Hill Road and Concord Church Road.

CR 222 (Charleston Pike) is closed between Blacksmith Hill Road and Concord Church Road.
- Detour: Charleston Pike to U.S. 23 to U.S. 35 to U.S. 50 to Concord Church Road to Charleston Pike.

Estimated completion: Fall 2026

PIKE COUNTY

State Route 220

SR 220 Maintenance — Beginning June 29, SR 220 will experience daily closures (8 a.m. — 3 p.m.) between two sections of River Road. The detour is SR 220 to SR 32 to U.S. 23 to W. 2nd Street to Depot Street to SR 220. Estimated completion: July 2

State Route 32

SR 32 Intersection Improvement — Expect lane closures on SR 32 between Smokey Hollow Road and SR 772. Estimated completion: June 16

U.S. Route 23

U.S. 23 Intersection Improvement — Expect lane closures on U.S. 23 near the intersection of Pride Drive. Estimated completion: Summer 2026

State Route 124

SR 124 Culvert Replacement — SR 124 is reduced to one lane between SR 772 and Jasper Road and maintained by a temporary signal. Estimated completion: Summer 2026

PICKAWAY COUNTY

Continuing Impacts

State Route 159 Resurfacing

SR 159 between the Ross County Line and Fairfield County Line will have various daytime lane restrictions (7 a.m. – 7 p.m.) starting Monday, May 11 through August 2026.

State Route 188 Resurfacing

SR 188 between Pontius Road and SR 674 will have various daytime lane restrictions (6 a.m. – 7 p.m.) starting Monday, March 30 through Fall 2026 for resurfacing.

FAYETTE COUNTY

New Impact

S.R. 734 Culvert Replacement

S.R. 734 will be closed June 22-July 3 for a series of culvert replacements between the Greene County line and the village of Jeffersonville.

June 22-26: S.R. 734 will be closed between Greene County and Pleasant View Road.
Detour: West Lancaster Road, S.R. 435, and Old US 35 at Jamestown.
June 29-July 3: S.R. 734 will be closed between West Lancaster Road and Jeffersonville-West Lancaster Road
Detour: West Lancaster and Jeffersonville-West Lancaster roads.

Continuing Impacts

U.S. 22/Jamison Road Roundabout

Detour: Jamison Rd. to U.S. 62 to Commerce Blvd. to Old U.S. 22 or reverse.

U.S. 22 at Jamison Rd. will be reduced to one lane in each direction starting Monday, April 27 through Summer 2026.

Jamison Rd. at U.S. 22 will close starting Monday, May 4 for 90 days.

HIGHLAND COUNTY

State Route 73

SR 73 Bridge Replacement — SR 73 is reduced to one lane between Line Road and Mad River Road. Traffic is being maintained by a temporary signal. Estimated completion: Fall 2026

SR 73 Intersection Changes — The intersection of State Route 73 and Prospect Road has been converted from a two-way stop to an all-way stop as of May 1, 2026.

SR 73 Bridge Replacement — SR 73 is reduced to one lane between SR 785 and Flat Run Road. Traffic is being maintained by a temporary signal. Estimated completion: Fall 2026

State Route 753

SR 753 Bridge Repair — SR 753 is closed between Snake Road and Paint Creek Road. The detour is SR 41 to U.S. 50 to SR 28 to SR 753. Estimated completion: Fall 2026

JACKSON COUNTY

State Route 139

SR 139 Culvert Replacement — SR 139 is closed between Riegel Ridge Road and Horton Sisters Road. The detour is SR 139 to SR 279 to SR 93 to SR 32 to SR 139. Estimated completion: Summer 2026

State Route 327

SR 327 Bridge Replacement — Beginning June 22, SR 327 will be closed for 45 days between Lesmil Road and Township Road 940 (Mann Drive). The detour is SR 327 to SR 93 to SR 683 to U.S. 50 to SR 327. Estimated completion: Summer 2026

State Route 788

SR 788 Bridge Replacement — SR 788 is closed between Owens Street and the U.S. 35 overpass. The detour is SR 788 to SR 93 to SR 788. Estimated completion: Summer 2026

FAIRFIELD COUNTY

U.S. and State Route Projects

U.S. 33 and Pickerington Road Interchange – The project involves the construction of a new interchange facility at the intersection of U.S. Route 33 and Pickerington Road. The project will involve the replacement of the at-grade intersections of Pickerington Road and U.S. 33 as well as Pickerington Road and the railroad crossing. New Impacts:

Beginning at 7 p.m. on Friday, June 19, traffic will be shifted from Old Pickerington Road to a temporary Pickerington Road, moving the physical location of the intersection. There will be no changes to signal timing or phasing during this shift.

Continued Impacts:

Monday, June 8, Benadum Road closed to traffic at the Pickerington Rd intersection for 14 days to allow for the construction of the temporary Pickerington Road.
Drivers should expect nightly lane closures in both directions for overhead work. One lane will remain open each way.

United States Route 22 is closed to traffic west of Amanda over Clear Creek in Fairfield County for a bridge replacement project. The roadway is expected to reopen late fall 2026. Detour: U.S. 22 to SR 674 to SR 188 to U.S. 33 to U.S. 22 and reverse.

State Route 158 and Coonpath Road in Fairfield County is closed to traffic for the creation of a roundabout. Estimated project completion is November 2026. Detour: SR 158 to U.S. 22 to SR 37 to SR 256 to SR 158 and reverse.

State Route 158 will be restricted to one lane of alternating traffic with flaggers for paving in Licking and Fairfield Counties. Work will take place during daylight hours and is expected to be complete July of 2026.

HOCKING COUNTY

U.S. 33 Resurfacing (Athens and Hocking Counties)
A resurfacing project is taking place on U.S. 33 from Nelsonville to Logan. Lane closures are in place.
Estimated Completion: October 15

State Route 664/Sauerkraut Road Roundabout
A roundabout construction project is taking place at the intersection of SR 664/Sauerkraut Road. Traffic is being maintained with temporary signals. From June 8-September 1, Sauerkraut Road will be closed. ODOT’S detour is Old McArthur Road to SR 664.
Estimated Completion: October 1

SCIOTO COUNTY

U.S. Route 52

U.S. 52 Resurfacing — Expect various daytime lane restrictions (7 a.m. – 6 p.m.) on U.S. 52 between Buch Street and the New Boston corporation limit. Estimated completion: Fall 2026

State Route 125

SR 125 Bridge Replacement — One lane of SR 125 will be maintained between Mackletree Road and lvary Road. Traffic is being maintained by a temporary signal. Estimated completion: Fall 2026

VINTON COUNTY

U.S. 50 Resurfacing
A resurfacing project is taking place on U.S. 50 between SR 278 (Vinton County) and SR 346 (Athens County). Traffic is being maintained by flaggers.
Estimated Completion: August 1

State Route 93 Realignment
A realignment project begins on July 6 on SR 93 between Meeksville Road and Maple Street. The road will be closed. ODOT’s detour is SR 93 to SR 683 to U.S. 50 to N Market Street.
Estimated Completion: September 4

State Route 160 Tree Trimming
A tree trimming project is taking place on SR 160 between SR 324 and SR 349. The road is closed from 7:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Estimated Completion: June 30
