Girls Wrestling: 8 Local Girls Are State Qualifiers

Eight area girls are qualifiers for next weekend’s State Wrestling tournament following Sunday’s District action. Three are District Champions in their respective weight classes: Jackson’s Makenna Craft, Logan’s Brooklyn Whited and Washington’s Lyndyn Gibbs were crowned champs.

Craft will be vying for her fourth consecutive state title.

The State Tournament will take place Friday, Saturday and Sunday March 7^th-8^th at Ohio State’s Schottenstein Center. Click on Big Walnut HS to see all the placers from baumspage.com.
