2026 Official Ross County Visitors Guide Now Available

Article presented by Kingston National Bank and Ross-Chillicothe Convention & Visitors Bureau

Chillicothe, OH – The Ross-Chillicothe Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB) is pleased to announce the release of the 2026 Official Ross County Visitors Guide, an essential marketing tool designed to inspire travel and showcase all there is to see and do throughout Chillicothe and Ross County.

The Visitors Guide serves as a comprehensive snapshot of Chillicothe/Ross County as a destination, highlighting the area’s rich heritage, vibrant downtown, outdoor recreation, local dining, lodging options, and annual events. It is a key resource used to attract leisure travelers, group tours, and travel planners by presenting the authentic experiences that make Ross County a unique and memorable destination.

Beginning in 2026, the Ross County Visitors Guide will now be produced annually, transitioning from its previous biennial schedule. This change allows the Bureau to more accurately reflect current attractions, events, and experiences, ensuring visitors have the most up-to-date information when planning their trips.

“The Visitors Guide is one of our most important marketing tools, and Great Lakes Studios has done an excellent job capturing the authentic Ross County experience,” said Melody Young, Executive Director of the Ross-Chillicothe Convention & Visitors Bureau. “From showcasing what’s happening to highlighting the places and events that make our community unique, the guide is designed to inspire visitors to stay longer, explore more, and truly connect with our destination.”

The Visitors Guide is widely distributed at travel and trade shows, Ohio and regional travel information centers, and through fulfillment of visitor information requests from interested travelers and groups. Locally, the guide is available at the Visitors Bureau, attractions, lodging facilities, and partnering sites throughout Ross County to ensure visitors have easy access once they arrive.

A digital version of the 2026 Official Ross County Visitors Guide is available at VisitChillicotheOhio.com. Printed copies can also be obtained by visiting the Bureau’s office at 230 N. Plaza Blvd.
