Western Latham Teacher Honored as Outstanding Educator

Presented By Hometown-Motors, Inc.

Congratulations to Rhonda Schuler, from Western Local Schools for being recognized as an Outstanding Educator in our community by the Chillicothe-Ross Community Foundation.

Since 1999, Rhonda has had an outstanding career serving the students of the Western Local School District, bringing academic excellence to the classroom. Her true passion is beyond the classroom, working relentlessly to prepare students for life after Western High School. As the senior advisor and the “Scholarship Queen,” she directs and assists students with FAFSA, scholarships, job shadowing, internships, and anything and everything that impacts Western students’ transition from high school to post-secondary education or careers. The impact Rhonda has had on students is immeasurable and often not fully realized until months or even years later. Rhonda fills a gap for many students that would otherwise go unfilled and the price for that would be very high.

“Through the generosity of the Foundation’s donors, The Outstanding Educator Award provides a grant to a local school district for classroom supplies and/or continuing education,” Scott Graham, the Foundation’s Executive Director, said.
