U.S. Rt. 35 ODOT Project Starts Thursday Night

(Chillicothe) – The southbound lanes of U.S. 23 will be closed overnight starting at 10pm on June 16 for bridge work on U.S. 35 Westbound. During the closure, traffic will be detoured via Bridge Street (S.R. 159) to U.S. 35 Eastbound to U.S. 23 Southbound. U.S. 35 Westbound traffic will be maintained in one lane.

This overnight closure will be to perform hydro-demolition on the north (right) side of the U.S. 35 Westbound bridge. Crews will be switching traffic on U.S. 35 westbound tomorrow, June 15 to start work on the remaining half of the bridge deck.
