Adena’s Foglesong Leads Local List of All Ohio Volleyball Players

The Ohio High School Volleyball Coaches Association has announced their All Ohio Teams for each division.

Among area players, Adena 6’1 senior Sydney Foglesong is the only athlete to be named First Team All Ohio, named to the Division 3 squad. Foglesong’s 390 kills and 72 blocks led the Warriors to an SVC Championship, then sectional, district titles and a regional runner-up finish. Bella Claxon of South Webster and Makenna Walker of Wheelersburg are on Second Team. Both players saw their squads share the SOC title and district championships. Hannah Burns of Adena, Lexi Grissett of Alexander & Keetyn Hupp of North Adams are Honorable Mention.

Local players on the Division-2 squad are Jamisyn Stinson of Sheridan on Second Team, then Honorable Mention selections include Jerilynn Koehler of New Lexington, Anna Ritter of Marietta and Mckenna Wiseman of Bloom Carroll.

On Division 4, Annie Dettwiller of Portsmouth Notre Dame is Honorable Mention.
