ODOT Seeks Public Comment On Tar Hollow Forest Road Resurfacing/Culvert Replacement

(Chillicothe) – As part of the Ohio Department of Transportation—District 9’s Planning Department, the district’s Environmental Office is seeking public input for a resurfacing and culvert replacement project inside Tar Hollow State Forest in Ross County.
ROS-Forest Roads 10 and 16 (PID: 111274) It is proposed to resurface forest roads 10 and 16. The project will also replace 39 culverts along both roads inside of Tar Hollow State Forest in Ross County, Ohio.
No new right-of-way will be needed for the project. No homes or businesses will be removed by the project. The roadways will be closed for the duration of the project. The detour will be determined at a later date.
The funding for the project is 100% State.
