Lt. Governor Jon Husted To Bring State Budget Discussion To Chillicothe

Ohio Lt. Governor Jon Husted will be in Chillicothe Monday, February 27th to discuss the State Operating Budget with local officials.

Husted will meet with the Chillicothe Ross Chamber of Commerce to discuss items in the Executive Version of the State Operating Budget related to the Common Sense Initiative (CSI), TechCred, the All Ohio Future Fund, and more.

Husted recently filed a “designation of treasurer” with the secretary of state’s office, which establishes who will oversee the purse strings of a campaign committee. Speculation is that Husted will run for the Office of Governor, once Governor Mike DeWine’s newly elected term concludes- due to term limits.
