Ross 9-1-1 Maintenance Planned June 13th

(Ross County) – On Tuesday June 13, 2023 the Ross County 911 Emergency Phone System will undergo an upgrade starting at 4am.

Residents are supposed to still be able to dial 911 in emergencies and those calls will be routed to another number at the Ross county Sheriff’s Office. All 911 calls originating in the city of Chillicothe will be routed to the Ross County Sheriff’s Office and they will be transferred to the Chillicothe Police Department.

If you experience problems with 911 please dial (740) 773-1185 for emergency calls to the Ross County Sheriff’s Office or (740) 773-1191 for emergency calls to the Chillicothe Police Department. 

The upgrade is supposed to be completed by the end of the day on the 13th.
