Chillicothe Water Street Paving Delayed

(Chillicothe) – The City of Chillicothe Engineering Department announces that due to unforeseen circumstances, the paving work for Water Street has been delayed.  Milling has been completed from the Railroad to Poplar Street, and NO PARKING signs have been removed. 

Residents may park on the street throughout the holiday weekend.  Signs will be reposted and residents are asked to have all vehicles removed from the street by Wednesday, July 5, 2023 at 7am. 

“We apologize for any inconvenience for the residents of Water Street.  Once Water Street is complete, crews will continue with milling and paving on other streets as well, with work hours each day of 7am to 8pm.” 

Residents are advised to watch for NO PARKING signs, as NO PARKING will be strictly enforced.  Motorists are advised to use caution and watch for construction vehicles and workers.

(Chillicothe) – The City of Chillicothe Engineering Department announces that milling and paving work for 2023 will start on Thursday, June 29, 2023.  

Weather permitting, milling will begin at 7am Thursday morning on Water Street from the Railroad to Poplar Street, and paving on Friday beginning at 7am in the same area. Crews will work until 8pm both days.  

Once Water Street is complete, crews will continue with milling and paving on other streets as well, with work hours each day of 7am to 8pm.

Residents are advised to watch for NO PARKING signs, as NO PARKING will be strictly enforced. Motorists are advised to use caution and watch for construction vehicles and workers.
