Minney Announces Retirement As Ross County EMA Director

Ross County Emergency Management Director Paul Minney has announced his retirement, starting September 1st of this year (2023).

Minney notified The Ross County Commissioners Monday morning, then later told the Ross Local Emergency Planning Committee that afternoon.

Minney has led Ross EMA for seven years. The county commissioners will either appoint the Deputy Director to take over Minney’s position or conduct a search for a new EMA Director.
