(Piketon) – The Community Action Committee of Pike County (CAC) has announced its highly-anticipated annual Yard Sale, set to take place on Friday, September 8th, starting at 8am. The event will be held at the CAC’s Piketon location, 941 Market Street, and promises a wide variety of everyday household items for sale.
The CAC’s Yard Sale is a remarkable opportunity for the local community to come together, discover great bargains, and support a noble cause. All proceeds from this fundraising event will directly benefit the CAC’s Events Committee, empowering them to organize future community events that bring joy and family-friendly fun to Pike County.
In the past, the Events Committee has successfully hosted beloved annual events such as the CAC Halloween Trunk-or-Treat and the Spring Community Event. With the support and generosity of our community members, we aim to expand our outreach and organize even more memorable gatherings in the future.
The Yard Sale will feature an array of gently used household items, including furniture, clothing, electronics, toys, and much more. Whether you’re searching for unique treasures or everyday essentials, the Yard Sale is sure to have something for everyone.
Keith Pitts, CEO and President of CAC, remarked on the significance of the yard sale fundraiser: “The Yard Sale is not only a fantastic opportunity for our community members to find great deals on items they need, but it also directly contributes to the success of our future community events. We are grateful for the overwhelming support from our community, as it enables us to continue serving and enriching the lives of Pike County residents.”
