Chillicothe Claims 2023 FAC Boys Golf Championship

The Chillicothe Cavaliers Boys Golf team put the finishing touches on a (37-3) league season with an FAC Championship win Tuesday at Chillicothe Country Club.

Despite Washington’s Garrett Wahl shooting a medalist round of 73, Coach Jason Fisher’s Cavs pulled out the win for the FAC title by three strokes. Chillicothe shot an 18-hole 320, Washington 323, Jackson 358, Miami Trace 365, Hillsboro 389, and McClain with a 396.

The final season records lined up as follows:

Washington (32-8)

Miami Trace (23-17)

Jackson (20-23)

Hillsboro (7-33)

McClaim (1-39)

The All FAC Team, based on best average scores, saw Chillicothe’s Vincent Haller being the FAC “Player of the Year”.
