Minford’s Miranda Johnson Leads 2023 All SOC Girls Tennis Team

All Southern Ohio Conference Girls Tennis honors have been announced, following SOC Tournament play.

Miranda Johnson of Minford is the SOC “Player of the Year”. Minford’s Addy Akers won the honor in 2022.

SOC Team Champ Waverly, led by coaches Matt Morrison and assistant Cody Dewitt, featured players Blossom Smith, Claire Morrison, Jada Osborne, Kyndra Barker, Lea Parker, Molly McKenzie, Selina Halko & Jacey Varney

SOC Tournament Results netted Miranda Johnson the Singles title and POY honors, with Waverly’s Blossom Smith as runner-up. Other All SOC Singles honors included Ava Estep of Minford and Claire Morrison of Waverly.

Doubles Champions were Ella Kirby & Savannah Holtgrewe of Portsmouth Notre Dame, with Runners-Up & All-Conference members Kailey Shaffer & Addi Lute of Minford.
