Zane Trace Boys & Circleville Girls Claim D-2 District Track & Field Championships

Zane Trace Boys and Circleville Girls laid claim to the Division 2 District Track & Field Championships Saturday at Washington High School.

Zane Trace edged Wheelersburg 105-104 for the boys team title. Hillsboro was second with 89.50 followed by Unioto 74.50, Washington 62, Waverly 56.5, Logan Elm 47, Portsmouth 30, Minford and Westfall 22, McClain 16, Circleville 14, Portsmouth West 10, Northwest 7, and Piketon with 1.5 points.

Circleville’s girls team crown came with 122.5 points with McClain second at 91. Unioto was third with 80 followed by Wheelersburg 74, Hillsboro 63, Waverly 53, Washington 48, Logan Elm 37, Zane Trace 36, Northwest and Westfall 14, Eastern Brown 9, Piketon 8.5, Minford 6, Portsmouth West 4 and Portsmouth 2.
