Westfall’s Anay Sierra is PRCTC 2024 Student of the Year

(Chillicothe, Ohio) Pickaway-Ross Career & Technology Center proudly announces Anay Sierra as the recipient of the prestigious 2024 Student of the Year award. Anay, a senior from Westfall, has demonstrated exceptional dedication and leadership within the Cosmetology program and beyond.

Anay’s remarkable journey at Pickaway-Ross exemplifies the essence of excellence and commitment. Not merely a student, but a student-athlete, Anay has become a beacon of inspiration for her peers and educators alike.

As President of the Student Council, President of our SkillsUSA chapter and Vice President of the National Technical Honor Society Chapter, Anay consistently leads by example. Her unwavering dedication to service is evident in her willingness to contribute to numerous campus initiatives, in which she has played an instrumental role.

Beyond her academic achievements, Anay’s compassionate nature shines through her selfless act of becoming a translator for a fellow student in need, showcasing her commitment to inclusivity and support within the student community.

Each year, teachers and instructors carefully nominate candidates for this esteemed honor, and Anay’s outstanding qualities have set her apart as an exceptional representative of Pickaway-Ross. Her passion, drive, and unwavering commitment embody the spirit of our institution.

Anay has also made her mark as the first Westfall student to receive the PRCTC Student of the Year honor.

Sierra is one of 362 students who will receive their Career passports Thursday, May 16th in the PRCTC Commencement Ceremony at the home of the Chillicothe Paints, VA Memorial Stadium. The ceremony begins at 7pm.
