ROSS COUNTY
Both Northbound on/off ramps for the U.S. 23 and East Main Street interchange will be closed through October 20th. U.S. 23 traffic seeking East Main Street/Charleston Pike will be detoured via U.S. 23 North to S.R. 159 to the U.S. 23 South exit back to East Main Street/Charleston Pike. East Main Street/Charleston Pike traffic seeking U.S. 23 North will be detoured via U.S. 23 South to Eastern Avenue (U.S. 50) to U.S. 23 North Exit. At least one lane will be maintained between S.R. 207 and the U.S. 23/U.S. 35 split for the duration of the project.
A bridge replacement project on C.R. 222 between Blacksmith Hill Road and Concord Church Road. All lanes will be maintained. Estimated completion: Fall 2026
State Route 159 (Bridge Street) Safety Improvement Project — A safety improvement project that will improve interchanges, intersections, lighting, traffic control, and pedestrian facilities. Left turns will be permitted from Bridge Street to River Trace Lane and Consumer Center Drive. At least one lane will be maintained in all directions of Bridge Street. At least two lanes will be maintained in both directions between North Plaza Blvd and The Chillicothe Mall entrance. All turn lanes will be available through intersections.
PIKE COUNTY
S.R. 772 Resurfacing — A resurfacing project on S.R. 772 between the Ross County line and Al Leeth Road. At least one lane will be maintained using flaggers. Estimated completion: Fall 2025
C.R. 9 Bridge Replacement — A bridge replacement project on C.R. 9 between S.R. 124 and Fields Hollow Road. All lanes will be maintained. Estimated completion: Fall 2025
PICKAWAY COUNTY
Pickaway County Engineer Department has CLOSED Yankeetown Pike between Alkire Road and Stonerock Road until November 21, 2025 for a bridge replacement.
Gibson Road will be closed now through October 3rd for a culvert replacement between West Ford Road and State Route 316.
State Route 762 Pavement Repairs between U.S. 23 and Ashville Pike will have various lane restrictions through Fall 2025 for pavement repairs. Two-way traffic will be maintained via flaggers.
A sanitary sewer project will temporarily close a section of Bulen Pierce Road for 10 days, beginning October 10th. The closure will affect the stretch between Duvall Court West and Shepherd Road as crews work to complete necessary infrastructure improvements. Drivers are advised to seek alternate routes during this period. Estimated completion: October 20, 2025

S.R. 93 Resurfacing — A resurfacing project on S.R. 93 between the village of Oak Hill and Sternberger Road. At least one lane will be maintained using flaggers. Estimated completion: Fall 2025
S.R. 279 Culvert Replacement — A culvert replacement project on S.R. 279 between Jackson Furnace Road and Monroe Hollow Road. S.R. 279 will be closed for the duration of the project. Traffic will be detoured via S.R. 139 to S.R. 32 to S.R. 93. Estimated completion: Fall 2025

U.S. 22 west of Jamison Road will close starting Monday, September 8 for two weeks for culvert replacement. Detour: U.S. 35 to SR 435 to SR 729 to U.S. 22 or reverse.
U.S. 35/ S.R. 435 Resurfacing between the Greene County Line and I-71 will have various daily lane restrictions (7 a.m. – 6 p.m.) through September 2025 for resurfacing. S.R. 435 between I-71 and U.S. 35, west of Jeffersonville will have various daily lane restrictions (7 a.m. – 6 p.m.) through September 2025 for resurfacing.

FAIRFIELD COUNTY
Resurfacing and related work on SR 159 in Fairfield County between US 22 and the Pickaway County line. Includes preventive maintenance on bridges within the project limits. Continued impacts: Two-way traffic is maintained with a flagging operation for resurfacing.
State Route 204 and Milnor Road Intersection Improvement – Installation of a westbound left turn lane at SR 204 and Milnor Road. Detour: SR 204 to SR 256 to I 70 to SR 310 to SR 204 and reverse. New Impacts: Beginning Monday, September 8th has SR 204 closed to traffic at the intersection of Milnor Road for approximately 50 days. The roadway is expected to re-open late October.
HOCKING COUNTY
West/East Main Street Pedestrian Safety Improvements
A pedestrian safety improvement project is taking place on West and East Main Streets in Logan. Work is taking place on the shoulder and the sidewalk next to the roadway. Flaggers are maintaining traffic during daytime hours. A 15 foot lane restriction is in place.

ATHENS COUNTY
SR 682 Sewer Line Project
The Village of Chauncey is starting a sewer line project on September 15 on SR 682, between 3rd Street and 4th Street. One lane will be closed. Traffic will be maintained with temporary signals. Estimated Completion: November 10
The Kanawha River Railroad crossing on State Route 682 in Athens County will close temporarily for repairs. The crossing is located between State Route 56 and Armitage Road. The closure will be in place from September 8-9, 2025. The detour is SR 682 to U.S. 33 to SR 682 and reverse.
A resurfacing/concrete repair project is taking place at the following locations in the City of Nelsonville: Old U.S Highway 33/E Canal Street/W Canal Street/W Washington Street, Burr Oak Blvd., and Happy Hollow Road. Lane closures will be in place where work is occurring. Traffic could be detoured onto side streets. Estimated Completion: October 31

U.S. 33/SR 682 ROUNDABOUT CONSTRUCTION
Traffic is being maintained by flaggers on SR 682 at U.S. 33. Additionally, the right shoulder is closed on U.S. 33 westbound. The off ramp from U.S. 33 west to SR 682 is also closed. Traffic will access SR 682 at the non-interchange exit for Bailey’s Trail System (Chauncey exit) then turn right onto North Plains Road. Estimated Completion: October 31
U.S. 33 Expansion (Athens and Meigs Counties)
A two-lane to four-lane expansion project is taking place on U.S. 33 from Athens to Darwin and Five Points to Ravenswood. From September 10-October 3, lane closures will be in place in both directions on U.S. 33 between Pleasant Hill Road and Oxley Road. Rolling road blocks will be in place when rock blasting is occurring. Overall Project Completion: 2028
ADAMS COUNTY
S.R. 125 Resurfacing — A resurfacing project on S.R. 125 between the village of West Union and Lynx Drive. This project is set to begin on September 8th. At least one lane will be maintained using flaggers Estimated completion: Fall 2025
S.R. 348 Resurfacing — A resurfacing project on S.R. 348 between the Scioto County line and S.R. 125. This project has begun as of August 5. S.R. 348 will experience daily closures in sections. Traffic will be detoured via S.R. 781 to S.R. 41 to S.R. 125. Estimated completion: Fall 2025
BROWN COUNTY
S.R. 221 Slide Repair — A slide repair project on S.R. 221 at the Hunter Road intersection . This project is set to begin on September 16th. S.R. 221 will be closed for the duration of the project. Traffic will be detoured via S.R. 125 to S.R. 505 to U.S. 52. Estimated completion: September 29
U.S. 52 Slide Repair — A slide repair project on U.S. 52 between Cornicks Run Road and Old A and P Road. This project is set to begin on September 12. At least one lane will be maintained using temporary signals for the duration of the project. Estimated completion: September 19
S.R. 763 Slide Repair — A slide repair project on S.R. 763 between S.R. 125 and Huff Hill Road. This project is set to begin on August 18. S.R. 763 will be closed for the duration of the project. Traffic will be detoured via S.R 41 to U.S. 52 to U.S. 62 to S.R. 353. Estimated completion: Fall 2025
FRANKLIN COUNTY
A two-year pavement reconstruction project is underway on Interstate 70 west of Columbus. The major roadway rehabilitation will replace pavement on I-70 between the Madison County Line and Hilliard Rome Road. Westbound will be reduced to two lanes. Eastbound traffic will be reduced to two lanes and shifted into a contraflow pattern, with both directions of I-70 traffic maintained in the existing westbound lanes. In 2026, traffic will switch to the eastbound side while crews rebuild the westbound lanes. These lane restrictions will be in place for the duration of the project, which is anticipated to be completed in Summer 2027. Reducing the number of lanes allows both directions of traffic to be maintained throughout construction. This approach allows crews to reconstruct the roadway without active traffic, enhancing safety for both drivers and workers.
GALLIA COUNTY
SR 218 Culvert Repair
A culvert repair project begins on September 15 on SR 218 between Ingalls Road and Raccoon Road. One lane will be closed. Traffic will be maintained with temporary signals.

COUNTY ROAD 40 BRIDGE REPLACEMENT
A bridge replacement project on County Road 40 (Patriot Road), between Burnette Road and Hutch Street. The road will be closed. ODOT’s detour is Patriot Road to Hannan Trace Road to German Hollow Road to Ramblewood Drive to Burnette Road. Estimated Completion: November 14
