Pike County EMA Preps New Hazard Mitigation Plan

(Waverly) – Pike County Emergency Management is currently updating the county’s hazard mitigation plan. The purpose of the plan update is to stay current on natural and manmade disasters that may affect Pike County. The plan update will also help identify strategies that will reduce the impact of a hazardous event.
Two public meetings have been scheduled, with the first being held on September 18th, 2024 and the second on October 16th, 2024. Both meetings are scheduled for 6:30pm and will be held at the Pike County, Ohio EMA office located at 2577 Alma Omega Road Waverly, Ohio 45690.
The public is invited to attend one or both of these meetings to discuss any concerns or address any questions you may have. The current Mitigation Plan will be available for review at the public meeting to assist with any clarification or statistical needs.
