One Day Bus Tour: Exploring Ohio’s Native American Heritage

Mark your calendar for a memorable day celebrating Native American heritage in Ohio. Friends of Hopewell Culture National Historical Park is leading the tour that will depart from the Ohio University Chillicothe parking lot near University Drive, Chillicothe, Ohio, on October 18, 2024 at 8:30am.
The journey begins with a visit to the Great Council State Park, situated on the historic site of a Shawnee Village. After enjoying a box lunch, the tour will continue to the Fort Ancient Earthworks and Nature Preserve. The anticipated return to the Ohio University Chillicothe around 4:30pm.
The cost for the trip is $60 per person, which includes lunch and bottled water. After registration, you will receive a menu to select your lunch. The trip is open to the first 40 participants who submit their payment, so reserve your seat soon as spots fill quickly.
