Westfall Repeats As Girls District Golf Champs

The Lady Mustangs of Westfall have defended their Division 2 District Golf Championship at Crown Hill Course with a round of 359. This is Westfall’s third straight district golf title, and fifth in last six years. West Union was a distant second at 419, but still qualify for the state tournament.

Westfall’s Paige Weiss won medalist honors with a 77. Her Westfall teammates are Michelle Pickett (92), Caroline Sever (95), Marianna Packer (95), and Kathryn Lockhart (115).

Individual qualifiers to the state tournament, that are not on a qualifying team, include: Rosella Lattavo of Zane Trace with an 80. Addison Jackson of Federal Hocking also moves to state with a 87.
