Homeland Credit Union Announces Core Conversion Project

Article Presented By Litter Quality Propane…

(Chillicothe) – Homeland Credit Union has announced an upcoming core conversion project aimed at enhancing their service delivery and operational efficiency. This initiative is designed to improve the member experience by providing more robust technology and streamlined processes.

CEO Shayne Poe stated- “As part of this project, we will be relocating some of our staff from the Caldwell Street branch to the Shawnee Square branch in Chillicothe. This strategic move is essential to ensure our team receives the necessary training and support during the transition to our new core system. By consolidating resources and expertise, we will be better equipped to serve our members and address their needs effectively as we migrate to this exciting new system.”

What This Means for Members:

Improved Services: The new core system will allow more innovative services and enhanced functionality.

Increased Training: Staff will undergo comprehensive training, ensuring they are well-prepared to assist members with the new system.

Temporary Disruptions: While we strive to minimize any inconvenience, members may experience brief service interruptions during the transition. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

“We believe this migration will not only improve our overall service efficiency but also create a more robust training environment for our staff as well,” said Poe. “By concentrating our efforts at the Shawnee Square Branch, we can ensure that our employees receive the best possible training and support, which ultimately benefits our members when our new core system goes live.”

The transition of staff from Caldwell to Shawnee will take place in early October. Shawnee is still available for walk-in service at any time. “Due to the lower number of staff at Caldwell Street, please note loan services may be slow, and we encourage our members to visit Shawnee Square for these types of needs. We appreciate the continued support from our community and look forward to serving you better from both branches.”

The core conversion will be completed in early 2025, and detailed updates will be provided via the Homeland Credit Union website and member communications over the next few months. Questions or concerns can be addressed by calling (740) 775-3331 or by emailing info@homelandcu.com.
