Bob & Jo Liggett win Grand Champion Pumpkin at the 2024 Circleville Pumpkin Show

By only 32 pounds, Bob & Jo Liggett have once again secured the Grand Champion Pumpkin title at the 2024 Circleville Pumpkin Show.

After setting the Ohio state record last year at 2,388.5 pounds, the Liggetts returned this year with a giant pumpkin weighing in at 2,226 pounds.

“Last year, I made a challenge. ‘Come on, you guys got to beat the guy that’s won too many times…’ So I was hoping that the other pumpkin would beat me. Thirty pounds is awfully close,” said Bob Liggett in an interview with Litter Media.

Liggett also revealed that he will do the soil test for next year’s patch only two days from now.

Brandon Wiggins had the third place pumpkin at 1,895 pounds and Ray Anderson was the runner-up at 2,194 pounds.
