Tar Hollow State Park Closing In 2025 for Renovations

(ODNR) – Tar Hollow State Park will close for one year starting on January 1st, 2025 for park improvement. This includes all day use visitors. The road will be closed at the Park Office.

All the electric sites, General Store, nature center, beach, flush restrooms, shower house and non- electric sites in the main part of the park will be closed.

The Northridge non-electric campgrounds (tents only must park outside the gate) will be open for reservations. Also, the four non-electric shelter houses on the ridge (Lookout, Pine Point, Sheep’s, and Dogwood Shelter) will be open for reservations.
