Local DAR Seeks Assistance For 2024 Wreaths Across America

(Chillicothe) – The Nathaniel Massie Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution are again sponsoring Wreaths Across America for 2024 in Greenlawn Cemetery. One of the missions of DAR is the care of veterans and active military, with Wreaths Across America being one of the largest projects throughout the United States to honor our veterans. 

The chapter is seeking sponsorships for the 2024 Wreaths Across America program with a goal to recognize 1,200 Ross County veterans with the laying of wreaths on their graves this December.

The cost of each wreath is $17, donations of any amount are accepted. You may sponsor wreaths to be placed by DAR Daughters or pick up wreaths to place personally on a veteran’s grave.

The wreath laying will take place at noon on Saturday, December 14th in Chillicothe’s Greenlawn Cemetery at the Veteran’s Square. The public is invited to participate.
