Ross County Seeks Input To Develop Comprehensive Plan

(Ross County) – The Ross County Planning Commission and the Board of Commissioners has announced the kickoff of the process to develop Ross County’s first comprehensive plan since 1978.

A comprehensive plan is a shared vision and guiding document for economic growth and development over the next 10 to 20 years. It will cover many topics including transportation, economy, farmland, housing, tourism, parks and recreation and more. The plan shall reflect the values and priorities of residents of Ross County.

To ensure that the plan reflects the values and goals of our community, the Ross County Planning Commission and the Board of Commissioners are committed to providing multiple opportunities to all residents, landowners, business owners, and stakeholders to provide valuable information and input to help shape the plan. Multiple public input open house events will take place across the county over the coming months.

The first open house is scheduled for Thursday January 30th from 3pm to 7pm at the Christopher Conference Center at 20 North Plaza Blvd in Chillicothe. Come at any time between those hours.
