Highland County Health Department Launches Free Online Property Records Search
Article Presented By The Bean Foundation…
(Hillsboro) – The Highland County Health Department is announcing the launch of its new online property records search tool, now available to the public at highlandcountyhealth.org.
This online system gives residents, property owners, real estate professionals, and contractors free and convenient access to important environmental health records, including:
- Household septic system records
- Private water system documentation
- Public health nuisance complaints and investigations
“This new digital service is part of our commitment to transparency and improving public access to vital information,” said Jared Warner, Health Commissioner of the Highland County Health Department. “Whether you’re buying a home, planning a renovation, or addressing a nuisance concern, having quick access to property records helps people make informed decisions and improves public health outcomes.”

The online search platform is available 24/7 and requires no login or fees. Users can search by property address to view and download available records. More information and instructions for searching properties records are available online.
Community members will still have the ability to call or email the health department to ask for records to be mailed, printed, or emailed to them, without using this system.
For questions or assistance with the online search tool, please contact the health department at (937) 393-1941.
