
George Washington Re-Enactor Coming To Ross County Heritage Center

(Chillicothe) – Step back in time this Independence Day weekend at the Ross County Heritage Center as the Ross County Historical Society proudly presents “A Visit From George Washington.” This program will take place on Saturday, July 5th at 6:30pm at 45 West Fifth Street in Chillicothe.
Nationally acclaimed presidential re-enactor Curt Radabaugh will bring history to life as he portrays George Washington, sharing stories from his early days as a young officer in the Ohio Country during the 7 Years War, his rise through the ranks of the Continental Army during the American Revolution, and his time serving as our nation’s first President.
This special program, held in honor of Independence Day, offers a rare and engaging opportunity for visitors of all ages to gain a personal glimpse into the life and legacy of one of America’s most influential Founders.
Before the presentation, guests are invited to explore one of the museum’s current feature exhibits, “The Ohio Militia: 1803–1876”, and enjoy light refreshments.
