Fluor-BWXT & Paints Team Up For Community

(Chillicothe) – The Chillicothe Paints baseball team is back on the field, and Fluor-BWXT (FBP) has returned as a sponsor with a $5,000 donation to support the team’s community outreach efforts.

“FBP recognizes the importance of the Chillicothe Paints organization in our community, and their efforts to make a night at the ballpark accessible for all families,” said FBP President and CEO Greg Wilkett. “Many of these outreach events have become traditions for families throughout southern Ohio.”

The donation will help the Paints continue programs like Field of Dreams, which provides free admission to youth teams throughout the season. The team also hosts a veterans’ celebration, youth clinics, and scouts and 4-H nights where members get into the game for free.

“Support from sponsors like Fluor-BWXT is immeasurable as an economic catalyst with fans and teams traveling from throughout the Midwest to visit VA Memorial Stadium,” said Chillicothe Paints President, Brian Wickline.

FBP has been a sponsor of the Paints for more than a decade, contributing over $50,000 in community support.
