
Street Milling & Paving Along With Water Line Work Set To Begin in Chillicothe

(Chillicothe) – City Engineer Dean Carroll has announced the 2025 street milling and paving program will begin on Tuesday, July 29th, 2025. Weather permitting, milling will begin on Yaples Orchard Drive the morning of July 29th. Residents are advised to watch for ‘No Parking’ signs, as these areas will be strictly enforced.
Streets Included:
• Yaples Orchard Drive
• Stoneridge Drive (Between Western and Timberview)
• Hanover Drive (Between Stoneridge and Almahurst)
• South Sugar Street (Between East 7th and East 5th)
• Shawnee Drive
• Carlisle Hill
• Old Eastern Avenue
• Bellcrest Lane
• Warner Avenue
While crews are at work, motorists should exercise caution on these streets. Motorists are also advised to use alternate routes and entrances/exits to local businesses while work occurs. Residents will still be able to access their homes, though brief delays may occur.

Utilities Director Nathan Prosch announces upcoming water line work, affecting Belleview Avenue from West 6th Street to Grand Avenue.

Belleview Avenue will be closed to through traffic on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at 7:30am until work is completed. Local traffic will be permitted access. Areas affected include Grandview Cemetery and Brookside Road. Please use caution and watch for both construction vehicles and workers.
