Ross Historical Society To Host Back To School Ice Cream Social

(Chillicothe) – Ross County Historical Society’s Junior Member Program will host a Back to School Ice Cream Social on Saturday, August 16th, from 1pm-4pm. Admission is free to the public. 

“Summer’s almost over, but there’s still time for a few more games”, according to Executive Director Andrew Hall. Join us for a fun afternoon of historic games and hand-cranked ice cream. Activities will move inside in case of inclement weather. If you’re new to the Junior Member Program, this is a great way to meet the staff, other members, and get to know the museum!”

They are also hosting a donation drive for teaching supplies and ask visitors to consider stopping by with any of the following:
-Tissues
-Sanitizing wipes
-Hand sanitizer
-Pencils
-Dry erase marker/erasers 
-Paper towels
