Ohio Christian University Invites Community to Chapel & Oak Tree Dedication
Article Presented By Adena Health…
(Circleville) – Ohio Christian University invites the community and media to campus for a special day of worship and tradition-building on Tuesday, October 7th.
The morning will begin with a University Chapel service at 9:25am in the Ministry and Performing Arts Center, located at the front of campus. President R.D. Saunders will deliver an inspiring message to students, faculty, staff, alumni, and guests.
Immediately following the service, at 10:15am, the University will launch a new annual tradition by planting an oak tree near the Dr. David Case Clocktower. This initiative, called “Oaks of Righteousness,” will honor each incoming class with the planting of an oak tree, symbolizing growth, strength, and faith. The inaugural tree will be planted in honor of the Class of 2029.
“We are excited to begin this new tradition, reminding our community that just as these trees will take root and flourish, so too will our students as they grow in faith, knowledge, and service,” said President Saunders.
The public is warmly encouraged to join us for both the chapel service and the oak tree dedication as Ohio Christian University begins this new chapter in our treasured history.
