Huntington golfer Tucker Taylor shot an 18-hole round of 76 Monday to advance to the Boys Division 3 State Golf Tournament, as he advanced as an individual player from the district tournament at the Elks Country Club in Scioto County.
Waterford won the district team title with a 318 with the Wildcats Reese Lang winning medalist honors with a 73.
Only one team and one individual at the district tournament qualified for the state tournament.
Manchester was team runner-up with a 334, Portsmouth West was third at 335, followed by St. Joe 350, North Adams 354, Southern 355, South Webster 356, Peebles 368, Fairfield 376, and Adena 10th at 380.
