Westfall Headed To State as D-2 Boys District Golf Champs

The SVC Champion Westfall Mustangs fired a 322 to win the Boys Division 2 District Golf title Wednesday at Crown Hill Course. Lynchburg-Clay is runner-up with a 324, also advancing to the state tournament as a team.
Ironton placed third, Circleville fourth, and Fairfield Union fifth in team scoring.
Carson Blankenship of Ironton won medalist honors with a 73 to advance to state as an individual player not on a qualifying team. Circleville’s Jaxon Hughey also heads to the state tournament with a 76.
