(Lancaster) – Fairfield Community Health Center (FCHC), a local non-profit clinic providing medical care to patients of all ages, announces the inaugural Fairfield County Healthcare Gala coming Spring 2026.
FCHC invites all healthcare professionals, regardless of profession, to attend the Gala on Thursday, March 12 at the Fraternal Order of Eagles Event Center, located at 1936 E. Main St. in Lancaster. The event will feature dozens of silent auction items, raffles, an appetizer buffet, and the opportunity to connect with others within the healthcare industry.
“This event celebrates the hardworking men and women who put forth effort every day to help ensure Lancaster and Fairfield County are healthy and well,” said Marketing & Fundraising Manager, Logan Weaver. “Whether you’re a nurse, doctor, specialist, aide, therapist, counselor, or anyone else who works in the industry or alongside it, we invite you to spend an evening with us.”
In addition to celebrating current healthcare workers in our community, the event will feature a special scholarship presentation of at least $500, given to a current or incoming Ohio University or Ohio University Lancaster student pursuing a career in any medical field.
“FCHC currently partners with the Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine and Fairfield Medical Center to provide space for approximately 12 resident students annually, each of them working towards becoming certified physicians either in our clinic or other areas of Ohio,” said Weaver. “Following that same line of thinking, this scholarship will help a current or future Bobcat along their journey towards becoming a healthcare professional. FCHC hopes this small gesture will be beneficial to whichever student is selected as our inaugural scholarship recipient.”
Proceeds from the event will go towards the scholarship and FCHC’s mission of providing affordable, quality healthcare for all. Located at 220 East Walnut Street in Lancaster, FCHC provides primary care, pediatric care, women’s health screenings, and behavioral health services regardless of a patient’s insurance coverage or ability to pay.
Tickets are currently on sale for $40 per person. Each ticket will include an entry into a door prize drawing and access to the silent auction and appetizer buffet. To purchase tickets and view sponsorship opportunities, please visit fchc.org/gala.
