The Ohio High School Athletic Association 2025 Football State Championship games get underway Thursday night in Canton.
The first of seven titles will be decided in Division II as Avon (13-1) faces Cincinnati Colerain (14-0). Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00pm at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium.
Three games will be played on Friday and Saturday, culminating with Wheelersburg (14-0) and Liberty Center (14-0) deciding the Division V championship.
Friday’s matchups begin at 10:30am with the Division IV battle between Cleveland Glenville (11-3) and Shelby (14-0). The Division III game pits Toledo Central Catholic (11-4) against Bishop Patterson (13-0) at 3pm and Cincinnati St. Xavier (11-2) against Olentangy Orange (14-0) at 7:30pm.
Saturday features St. Henry (13-1) takes on Jeromesville Hillsdale (13-1) at 10:30am for the Division VII championship followed by the Division VI game between Kirkland (14-0) and Hopewell-Loudon (13-1) at 3pm and the nightcap with Wheelersburg and Liberty Center to close out the Fall Sports Season.
