Public Comment Period Open for S.R. 335 Culvert Replacement

CHILLICOTHE – As part of the Ohio Department of Transportation—District 9’s Planning Department, the district’s Environmental Office is seeking public input for a culvert replacement project on S.R. 335 in Scioto County.

SCI-335-7.57 (121464) It is proposed to replace the existing culvert on S.R. 335 between Shumway Hollow Road and Wheelers Mill Road in Scioto County, Ohio. The project is located in the rural area of Harrison Township.

The project will require approximately 0.101 acres of permanent right-of-way. The permanent right-of-way is located along the stream channel and residential lawns.

No homes or businesses will be removed by the project.

The roadway will be open for the duration of the project.

The funding for the project is 80% Federal and 20% State.

The environmental commitment date is 3/27/2026. The project is currently expected to be awarded 4/1/2027.
