Nominations for the Annual Pineapple Awards Have Opened

Chillicothe, OH – The Ross-Chillicothe Convention & Visitors Bureau is excited to announce
that nominations are now being accepted for the 2026 Pineapple Awards. These awards celebrate
individuals who have demonstrated outstanding contributions to the tourism and hospitality
industry by consistently going above and beyond daily expectations. Nominations must be
submitted by 3:00 PM on March 16, 2026, and will be reviewed by an impartial panel of judges
based solely on the stories included in the nomination forms, ensuring a fair and unbiased
evaluation process.

The Pineapple Awards feature several categories to recognize diverse roles within the hospitality
industry, including “Behind the Scenes” (e.g., grounds, maintenance, housekeeping), “Front
Line” (e.g., desk clerks, servers, cashiers), “Volunteer” (unpaid staff), and “Manager” (e.g.,
general managers, executive directors, sales managers). Nominations should highlight specific
examples from the past calendar year that showcase how nominees have made extraordinary
impact providing visitors with an unforgettable experience.

the nomination form. Completed forms can be mailed or delivered in person to the CVB Awards
Committee at 230 N. Plaza Blvd., Chillicothe, OH 45601. Forms may also be scanned and
emailed to melody@visitchillicotheohio.com.

All nominees will be honored, and winners will be announced during the 2026 Ross-Chillicothe
Pineapple Awards Ceremony, which will be held on Monday, May 4, 2026, as part of the Ross-Chillicothe Visitors Bureau’s Tourism Banquet. This event is a wonderful opportunity to
celebrate the achievements of the industry’s finest and inspire others to reach new heights of
excellence.
