
Paint Valley Alcohol Drug Addiction and Mental Health Board Announces 2026 Teen Mental Wellness Video Contest Winner

Chillicothe, OH – The Paint Valley Alcohol, Drug Addiction, and Mental Health Board
(ADAMH Board) held its 2nd annual Teen Mental Wellness Video Contest. The video
contest was for all high school students in Fayette, Highland, Pickaway, Pike and Ross
counties. Students are given 30-60 seconds to promote World Teen Mental Wellness
Day and why mental health and wellness of our teenage youth is important. Awards in
the amount of $500, $300, and $200 were awarded to the top three winning entries.
Awards are intended to be used for a safe prom/after prom experience!
The 2026 winners are:
- 1st place: Adena High School, Ross County
- 2nd place: Hillsboro High School, Highland County
- 3rd place: Chillicothe High School, Ross County
Melanie Swisher, Executive Director, says, “Our youth are not just tomorrow’s leaders,
they are actually leading today to promote wellness for themselves, their peers, and the
community. This year’s submissions were so creative and encouraging.”
Paint Valley ADAMH Board would also like to recognize two honorable mention videos:

- Lynchburg Clay High School, Highland County
