
Circleville’s Evan Callihan D-IV Boys Basketball Coach of the Year, Leads OPSMA All-Ohio Selections

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The 2026 Divisions IV, V, VI and VII boys basketball All-Ohio teams were announced Wednesday by the Ohio Prep Sports Media Association. The All-Ohio teams are based on nominations from the seven districts of the OPSMA from regular-season accomplishments.
Leading the way, Circleville’s Evan Callihan is the D-IV Boys Basketball Coach of the Year. Callihan led the Tigers (23-3) to its first Mid State League Buckeye Division Championship and first Regional appearance since 1976. Tigers point guard, Kole Nungester is a Second Team All-Ohioan and Unioto’s Blake Fitch, Third Team.
In D-V, Zane Trace’s Gunnar McCullough was a Third Team selection.
Portsmouth West’s Caleb McClanahan is the D-VI Coach of the Year and the Senators’ Will Kegley is a First Team selection.
The boys basketball All-Ohio teams for Divisions I, II and III will be announced on Thursday. The girls basketball All-Ohio teams were announced Monday and Tuesday.
