Free Dermascan Skin Screenings on April 15
Article Presented By Classic Brands…
Washington CH – Fayette County Public Health (FCPH), in partnership with OSU Extension, will host a free Dermascan skin screening clinic on Tuesday, April 15 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Fayette County Public Health office.
As warmer weather approaches and more time is spent outdoors, protecting your skin and paying attention to changes becomes even more important. Dermascan screenings use a specialized imaging tool to help identify areas of concern on the face that may need follow-up with a healthcare provider. The screening is quick, non-invasive, and available at no cost to participants.
Following a successful first clinic earlier this year, this screening offers another opportunity for community members who may have missed their chance to be checked. Several individuals from the previous event were referred for follow-up care, reinforcing the value of early detection.
No appointment is necessary. To learn more about the services offered at Fayette County Public Health, visit faycohd.org.
