Softball Parings: Post Season Begins Next Week

The OHSAA Softball tournament pairings have been released for the 2026 post season.
First round play begins next week.
In the Southeast District, Chillicothe is the top seed in Division III and receives a first round bye. They’ll await the winner of Miami Trace at Unioto. Sheridan is the #2 seed hosting Washington. Athens is the #3 seed and will host Marietta.
Jackson is the #1 seed in Division IV and will await the winner of McClain at Waverly. Second seeded Logan Elm awaits the winner of Fairfield Union at Vinton County. Third seeded Circleville, who will play the winner of Hillsboro at Gallia Academy.
The Division V Super Sectional features 23 schools with Wheelersburg earning the top seed, earning a bye. Meigs is the #2 seed, Piketon is the 3rd seed and Ironton is the #4 seed. Division V opens play on May 13th.
In Division VI, Lucasville Valley is the top seed, Eastern Pike #2 and Portsmouth West is #3, all receiving first round byes. Games begin Tuesday May 12th.
Division VII opens play on May 13th. Portsmouth Notre Dame is the #1 seed, Symmes Valley #2 and Southern #3. All have first round byes.
Area schools in the Central District include Teays Valley, Lancaster, Logan. Some of the brackets are yet to be determined.
Of the brackets available, Bloom-Carroll is the top seed in Division III. Liberty Union is the #1 seed in Division V.
