Chillicothe Crowned 2026 FAC Boys Tennis Champions

WASHINGTON COURT HOUSE — Chillicothe captured the 2026 Frontier Athletic Conference Boys Tennis Tournament championship on May 9th at Washington High School, finishing atop the final league standings after a strong showing in both singles and doubles competition.

Leading the way for the Cavaliers was Noah Flores, who claimed the singles championship and was named the FAC Player of the Year following an impressive tournament performance.

Flores defeated a talented field to secure the conference title and help power Chillicothe to the overall team championship.

Jackson also turned in a strong performance throughout the day, highlighted by runner-up finishes in singles and doubles competition. Christian Burcham advanced to the singles final before finishing second, while teammate Fernando Villebrille earned third place. Chillicothe’s Elijah Yandilia placed fourth, followed by teammate Yohan Abreu in fifth.

In doubles play, Jackson dominated the bracket as the duo of Grady Massie and Landon Profitt captured the FAC doubles championship. Fellow Ironmen teammates Joel Carroll and Jayce Moore finished as runners-up, giving Jackson the top two spots in the doubles standings.

Chillicothe’s pairing of Malachi Upshaw and Lyric Graves earned third place, while Washington Court House’s Evan Wilson and Austin Hughes placed fourth. Miami Trace’s team of Slade Strider and Holten Pepper rounded out the top five.

The tournament concluded another competitive season for the Frontier Athletic Conference, with Chillicothe securing the overall league title ahead of a strong Jackson squad.
