
Portions of Mulberry, Riverside, and Race Streets Reopen as of Monday Afternoon

CHILLICOTHE, OH – The City of Chillicothe has reopened Mulberry Street from Water Street to Riverside
Street, Riverside Street from Hickory Street to Mulberry Street, and the intersection of Mulberry,
Riverside, and Race Streets today. As part of the reopening, Race Street will return to one-way traffic
after temporarily operating as a two-way street during construction.
The project included major upgrades to the area, including:
- Full roadway reconstruction
- New brick pavers and asphalt
- New sidewalks, curbs, and gutters
- A redesigned intersection to improve safety for drivers and pedestrians
While the roads are open for public use, construction activities on the streets are ongoing. Motorists are
asked to use caution and watch for crews in the area.
Tritscheller Road Closure Begins Monday
Beginning Monday, May 11, 2026, Tritscheller Road will close between the entrances to Enderlin Circle
for demolition work. Access to Enderlin Circle and the lake will remain open. Enderlin Circle has
been converted to two-way traffic for access around the park. The intersection at Paint Street and
Water Street will remain open.
Drivers are encouraged to slow down, follow posted signage, and use extra caution in construction
