
Heath & Halcomb Lead All-SVC Softball Honors

Piketon’s Aubrey Heath and Adena’s Marly Halcomb are the Softball Co-Players of the Year in the Scioto Valley Conference for 2026.
The Redstreaks’ Mark Blakeman is the SVC Softball Coach of the Year.
Heath (Jr) is batting .543 in 109 plate appearances heading into tournament action Wednesday as the Redstreaks host West Union. She’s collected 51 hits with 30 RBI, stolen 28 bases and socked 11 home runs.
Halcomb (Jr) has a .556 batting averages in 112 plate appearances, scoring 47 runs on 55 hits and 34 RBI. She leads Adena with 15 doubles on the season. Halcomb and her teammates will host Zane Trace the first round of tournament play Wednesday.
Blakeman has led Piketon to a 23-3 mark entering the post season and to the Redstreaks’ second consecutive SVC championship, the school’s fifth overall.
