Ohio State Fair Offers New Experiences July 29-August 9

Introducing the Ohio Showcase Building Restaurants, a brand new destination at the 2026 Ohio State Fair.

Located in the center of the fairgrounds, the Ohio Showcase Building (pictured above) brings together local flavors, air-conditioned seating areas, and an immersive exhibit exploring Ohio’s history and innovation all under one roof.

 At the heart of the building is the new Food Hall, featuring a lineup of well-known restaurants with Ohio roots: Schmidt’s Sausage Haus; Daisy’s Fish Shack; Marlow’s Cheesesteaks; The Cheesecake Girl; Glass City Pizzeria; and Sweet Carrot

Whether you’re craving a Fair favorite, a hearty meal or something sweet, the Food Hall offers something for everyone. Guests can enjoy spacious seating options, including a large air-conditioned dining area that’s perfect for cooling off and taking a break during a busy day at the Fair.

“Shaping Ohio” Exhibit

Beyond the Food Hall, fairgoers can explore “Shaping Ohio,” an interactive exhibit and 360-degree film experience available at no additional cost. From a life-size replica of the 1905 Wright Flyer III to touchscreen displays of inventions and innovators, the exhibit highlights the stories and achievements that continue to shape Ohio communities today.
